The tour begins in Porto and we’ll head north, towards the Vinho Verdes Region. We’ll take you to Monção and Melgaço to taste the delicious wines made with the region’s noblest grape variety, Alvarinho.
This is a region of ancient traditions and peculiar vineyards, but also of delicious smoked meats that make a perfect pairing with the red Vinho Verde. In this tour you’ll be visiting 2 different family-owned Wine Estates and learn about the process of production of the Vinho Verde DOC wine and how you can pair it with different delicacies from the region, having also the chance to explore the immense vineyards of the Wine Estates!
